Statement
University Place has been my home for over 30 years, I grew up watching and supporting my father, Ken Grassi, become University Place Mayor and longest-serving councilman. Now, as a widowed mother of two, an active member and business leader in this community, it is my mission to serve every citizen and generation of University Place with passion and excellence. I will bring my unique understanding of the past with fresh vision for the future.
Public safety is my top priority, serving as a Prop 1 Volunteer to successfully increase our police department and response times. In addition to increasing public safety, my priorities include creating new pathways for economic development and small business support. I will fight for the return of a vibrant parks and rec program for our children & seniors.
Leading a business and two University Place non-profits with a multi-million dollar operating budget, I am an experienced, strong voice for sensible growth in our community with a willingness to listen to citizen's concerns & strategically find solutions. I'm humbled by the broad and enthusiastic endorsements I've received.
With your vote, I pledge to be a positive, persistent and powerful advocate for the people of University Place.
